THANK YOU, THANK YOU, thank you to everyone who came and joined us last night at the Blackpool Tower light up.
A special thank you to Gilly from BBC radio Lancashire & Jessica from That's Lancashire TV for you support covering this story. What has made the whole experience even more magical is the fact that is the tower 125th birthday next Tuesday! So it is amazing to have the council's support and this is a moment we will never forget.
Gilly's interview will be on BBC Radio Lancashire this afternoon & Jessica's interview will kick off tonight at 6pm and be on a news loop for several hours on CH7 THAT'S LANCASHIRE TV on Freeview.
A HUGE thank you to fellow Lymie's & family who came as well. I know it was a cold and at times wet but I really do appreciate all the support and efforts made to be present for this amazing moment. The memories will last a lifetime.
REMEMBER, if you couldn't make it to the tower last night but you want to see it, the tower will be lit in all it's beauty until Thursday. So, please drive down, pop down and see the tower. It is so magical and the support really leaves me speechless. It is amazing to see and definitely worth a trip down. I know ITV Granada are also putting the pictures from last night on their website. So look out for those.
A massive shout out and thank you to Nicola Adam for her support within the local news. Helping Blackpool Gazette and Garstang Courier cover the story and help people be aware of the events we are hosting, achievements and steps forward we are making this awareness month. THANK YOU. If you haven't already, grab yourselves a copy.
So don't forget to watch out for the interview, grab your papers and head down to Blackpool if you can and see the tower in all its green beauty.
THANK YOU!
Sophie
