So, I enjoyed an amazing morning at Beyond Radio. I spoke throughout the whole hour - 10-11am about Lyme Disease and about being shortlisted for the Diversity Awards.
Everyone was lovely and I was flattered when the presenters wanted me to present my own show there. I explained my previous work and commitments and politely let them down. I was of course flattered, but as Sophie does - I got slightly embarrassed.
I was quite surprised how long I was able to speak for, I wasn't butted off or told I had only got two minutes to speak, which was very helpful.
I had a good morning with lots of laughs and I am so thankful for the support Beyond FM gave me and how they wanted to keep giving me shout out's in support of my work.

ITV will be covering the DIVERSITY AWARDS which is beyond AMAZING. They will be featuring the awards on the Lunchtime News and the 10pm News. So watch out and tune in.
I am beyond excited and can't wait for this event. It is beyond my wildest dreams. I am exhausted, don't get me wrong but I am so pumped up and excited for the amazing opportunities and success that lay ahead.
It doesn't seem five minutes ago since I was laid on the sun-lounger on the first day of our summer holiday when I received the email that I had been shortlisted and NOW here we are ONE day away. To think about all the amazing experiences have been blessed with since that email came through is beyond words.
I have so much I hope to go on to achieve in the future. It is often daunting due my health but I know I will always fight. My mission and passion is far to strong to allow anything to force me to surrender. I have proved to myself that if I just believe in myself I am stronger than I give myself credit for and I can achieve the goals and dreams I set for myself.
There has been MANY times I have wanted to throw the towel in. I get angry at myself about things I miss or the blips I have experienced but I have to be truly grateful for all that I do achieve and the adventures I get to enjoy .
I am so blessed to be able to look back over my scrapbook and remind myself of all the amazing moments over the past few months. I am keeping scrapbook to ensure on the bad days when I am low I can remind myself of my purpose in life, self-worth and to be grateful but also celebrate the amazing moments I have experienced.
I am excited for the future and whatever happens I will never give up on my mission to protect, empower, enrich and save lives. To be the best person I can be is my aim and I will never lose sight of that goal.
Hopefully in the coming years we will see a change and acceptance towards Lyme Disease. I hope to be an inspiration to all battling chronic diseases that our illnesses don't define us. They are a huge part of our story but they can never be allowed to taint our dreams.
I hope my blog offers motivation, inspiration and a comfort blanket to know we never battle alone.
Thank you for all the on-going support. It means the absolute world to me and I hope I do you proud in all I have done and continue to do.
