Day eight..
Not only is it Friday and the end of the week but the rush now is really beginning. We have had the fun week of getting the decorations up and now it’s focusing on the gifts and planning for the actual day. Who you are catering for, how much food you need and also planning your social calendar.
Today is important to write down all that you need to do and consider.
Ensuring your list is sensible and you aren’t overdoing it.

We would all love to be at every party, cater for all the family, buy a truck load of gifts but we have to be reasonable.
Plan your diary, contact family and friends so you can get organised and feel more relaxed.
Keep to your diary.
There are always going to be things - plans, events, outings and so on that are arranged last minute.
It’s important that you realise that doing too much will set you back.
Address whether you really want, need or will enjoy going to that last minute event.
Is the extra stress, energy and so on worth it.

Often it isn’t. The important plans are always organised in advance so more people can attend so focus on those kind of plans.
Where you can see more people and be far more prepared and organised.
I haven’t touched on confidence and self-esteem recently and I feel that the festive period is challenging for many. You don’t want to go out with fear of judgements, you don’t feel comfortable in your own skin never mind your clothes.
So I wanted to focus on this point today.

- People who judge you are often judging you out of jealousy . Remember they may have clear skin, a fast car and so on. BUT they don’t have your warrior strength! Which they know full well they don’t. So don’t let them dull your sparkle and show off your strength.
-Killer outfit, TREAT yourself - yes it’s allowed! A new outfit can allow you to feel your best adding instant confidence . Purchase an outfit that you can dress up in lots of different ways so then you can wear it throughout the season.
- Support from family and friends is also important. The little compliments you get you should cherish them and believe them. They aren’t just simply said they are the truth.
- Remind yourself of your strengths. Whether it’s writing them down and reading them over or having them on notes around your room. This is often challeneging to many but you all have a number of special strengths.
-Enjoyment and pride! Remember how amazing you will feel that you managed the event and how much you enjoyed seeing everyone, mingling, laughing and so on.
-Conversations are challenging especially on our hard days and well when we are exhausted. During the manic festive period we will sure face exhaustion. Explain the situtation to friends and family so then they can help you in conversation.
Most importantly - remember!
You are unique.
You are a strong fighter!
Nobody can be you, your friends and family love you for you. Whether your skin is having a bad day, you don’t like your outfit, you aren’t feeling confident in yourself. They love you despite anything.
So enjoy their love and don’t let low confidence hold you back. Pushing through your insecurities will make you feel so much better and stronger.
It’s day eight, set your event dates, juggle those plates and believe in fate.
I know and fully understand that for so many including myself find this holiday period hard. In ways we can’t express or explain to others. Just know you are never alone!
