The Harvester.

The Harvester another big brand is catering well for people who suffer from food intolances and food allergies.

They are willing to adapt dishes ( take sauces off, add sauces etc) and adapt the price accordingly too which is most helpful.

They too like Pizza Hut do have sauces that contain zero allergens.

For Pizza Hut it's their sweet chilli sauce. Harvester have a number of sauces, one that I tried was the Carribean Piri Piri- which was basically made up on fruit juices and spice mixes like ginger.

This is perfect.

This allows us to have sauces to top our Nacho chips when you can't eat the salsas or cheese, to top our chips with, salad or veggies.

Guacamole at the Harvester is also dairy free as it contains zero allergens. However most supermarket brands and other restaurants add cream, creamer or milk to there guacamole so just because one place is ok and safe please do always check!!

Same with all foods, just the other day I got caught out with mustard! Everyone know I love my mustard! And I know some places now they add mayo to their mustard WHY! This makes me so sad but the other day I was having mustard from a brand I hadn't used before and it actually contained wheat.

So please always ALWAYS check. A safe choice for you may actually become the cause of a reaction.

A lot of places now have their allergen book readily available so please just ask and they will happily provide you with their booklet.

Their chips & sweet potatoe fries are also gluten free!! So no gluten in their oils! Supposedly as remember they can be classed as 'gluten free' if there is less than 20% gluten in the product.

You have to be careful with this again - as Bella Italia's chips aren't gluten free.

Of course Harvester is an affordable, accessible, nationally wide-spread and a big company so for a stress free easy restaurant pick it is one to think about. As again they provide 'pub' style English, as well as America type foods that cater for a lot of people tastes.

Thank you Harvester for being so accommodating and having a bigger range for us to enjoy.

Is there any other places you find easier to dine at? Accomate you well?

Let me know.

Love and peace -

S xoxo

COOKING TIPS

#1
Feeling sluggish and rubbish when you have woken up? Get boosting up on bananas the more the better - they will help settle your stomach, boosting digestion, they are a mood enhancer, they will give you the energy you need and keep you full. Buy my book for banana receipe ideas.

#2
Wake up every morning and ATLEAST have one glass of lemon water before doing anything else! Ideally try to drink a litre of water. The lemon wakes up your digestive system ready for the day and has great cleansing properties.

#3
Check your dairy and meat intake - dairy can sit in your system for up to seven days unable to digest properly. Meaning other foods also get neglected and nurtients aren't absorbed properly and you feel extremely bloated. Go and smell your food bin, your stomach will be in that state. Rotting foods in your belly - hmm nice.

#4
DO NOT FEAR CARBS - THEY ARE NOT THE ENEMY! CARB UP!!
Bananas, Rice, Potatoes, Leafy Greens, Corn, Beans, Lentils etc PACK THEM IN GO MAD.

#5
NEVER COUNT CALORIES - NEVER RESTRICT!! These restriction 'starvation' diets who tell you to only eat 500 calories a day then have a treat day - where you binge out and eat WAY too much, is simply messing up your metabolism and on your binge days yours body stores all the fat meaning you gain weight because it knows it is going to go back into starvation mode and needs to hold onto every little thing it can. HELLO WEIGHT GAIN.

Life is too short not to live it to the full, making yourself happy.
