A quick, easy, fresh pasta sauce! Packed with spice and punch.
What do you need?
1 x handful of fresh basil
2 x cloves of garlic
1/2 x pack of plum tomatoes ( fresh )
1 tsp of cinammon
1 tsp of chilli pepper
3 tsp of morrocan spice paste
10ml of red wine vinegar
10ml of soy sauce
Firstly roast your tomatoes & garlic in a fam assisted oven at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
Then add all your ingredients to your blender.
Add your roasted veg and herbs to the mix, adding in water to create the consistency you like and salt and pepper to taste.
Blend well.
Cook and prepare your pasta, adding the sauce into the pan and warming through. I often use the water left from boiling the pasta to use to monitor the consistency of the sauce. As I don't want to lose any of the nutrients from my edamame pasta.
Like a yummy sauce that packs a punch then this sauce is fore you.
Try it out and let me know what you think!
Happy Saturday - lots of love, peace and love
S xoxo
