Tips and Tricks;
1. Create a compliment jar:
For an entire month, write down something you like about yourself every single day from your abilities to your personality, any positive compliements count. At the end of the month reflect.
2. Start Living for NOW:
We tend to put emphasis on things we can't change. Only causing destress & anxieties.
3. Keep a journal:
Write down your feelings, get them out in a healthy way. Once written down, close the book until next time - don't go reading over what you have written ( leads to over thinking ).
4. Become Aware of Negativity:
When you catch yourself being negative, actively acknowledge it. Give yourself time to respond postivity.
5. Ask Yourself 'IF':
If someone else was in my position, would I make them feel negatively?
6. Have Conversations With Yourself:
Instead of verbal onslaughts with yourself, start talking to yourself like an adult - converse with yourself. Why do I feel this way?
7. Stopping Judging Yourself?
If you find yourself being critical, actively practice being more positive.
8. Start Medidating:
Relaxing and deep breathing can help you let go of your anxiety.
9. Learn to LET GO:
Disconnecting from what is making your anxious. Learn not to invest so much time in what upsets you.
10. Be an Active Participant in your LIFE:
Don't be a back seat driver when you let your emotions run your life, you aren't fully in control. Help develop a more positive attitude.
Using these simple tips and tricks may not solve your self-esteem issues completely but they may help you break through the wall a little bit and you will be able to grow further as a person and you force yourself to see your strengths rather than your flaws. Instantly removing stress and increasing mood.
