Hello JUNE. I love June, the beginning of summer - the thought of holidays, time with the family, sun, heat, beauty flowers, travels, ventures, new experiences, exploring, friends, good food that are fresher, more chance to get outside, all very exciting.
2 weeks today until route 66 in America and I simply can't wait. The thought of all the food is enough to get you on the first plane there! SO much choice and I will be spending most of my time in Whole Foods - stocking up on rice and loads of amazing fresh foods we don't get over here no doubt. Make sure you keep updated with my Instagram: @sophiewardy and Snapchat: @sophwardy throughout the adventure and I am sure I will have SO much to tell you when I return home and lots to show you.

Today I want to quickly review the B12 and Vitamin D resources. I have just received mine from Holland and Barrett and used them as soon as getting them. So just wanted to show you these products and tell you how to use them.

So these are the sprays and their packaging.
The DLUX vitamin D spray - you simply need one spray a day. To begin, take all the packaging off and shake well, then press down 3 times to get the liquid pumping out, then simply pick either the left or the right inside of your cheek and press down - spraying once! You will taste a slight mint taste but it isn't too strong and then you are done for the day with your vitamin D. EASY. Vitamin D3 helps promote, healthy bones, teeth, your immune system and contributes to normal muscle function. This product is also vegan friendly, suitable for vegetarians and is allergy-free. As is the B12 Boost spray.
Now the B12 Boost spray - do actually the same taking off the packaging, shaking and spraying 3 times. Then use the opposite inside cheek to the one you used for you vitamin D and spray 4 times, you will taste a natural apricot flavouring again it's not that strong, but a little stronger than the mint hit you get from the vitamin D purely because you have sprayed more of the product. The product says you should get 160 measured sprays from each bottle. B12 helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and boosts memory and brain function. As I said above these products you can purchase from Holland and Barrett and are easy to use, that will only take two minutes out of your day. Well worth it I believe.
My close friend Jacob who also more or less follows a plant-based diet and has seen amazing results from eating this way, shared a link with me on Facebook about the European Union are planning on promoting more plant-based diets and way of life over consuming meats starting next year. This is amazing news! This will cut down cruelty to animals, cut down the amount of hormones they are forced to consume to grow bigger and faster to be slaughtered sooner to meet the high demand. Which will mean that the meat that people do consume will be less processed, have less hormones and harmful substances in the (mercury- that contribute to cancers, heart disease and other life threatening diseases), which is amazing news for everyone because even if you are a meat eater and will refuse to try a plant-based diet from day to day and cut down on your meats, the meats you will be eating will be so much healthier for you. Don't get me wrong they will still be processed and contain toxins but if people do adapt and take the plunge to eat better for their health then we are all better off. So just have a think about that.
I have signed in support of this - the link is on my Facebook page, you will find it underneath this blog post. However you can go straight to their site www.summerofminus69.eu and you can find all the information at your finger tips about signing in support, festivals and the chance to win tickets to the festivals throughout Europe. Something to really think about.

I picked these amazing veggies up from the market in Lytham - just look at how amazing these veggies are. I just HAD to use the asparagus last night and I adapted my roastie recipe ( you'll find it in my book;) to make a hearty roast. ) Plenty of veg in dairy-free cheese sauce (amazing product - all the products I love and use are listed in my book), loads of sweet potato mash with almond milk mixed in , cashews, greens, flaxseeds and apple sauce. It's a bit to summery for cranberry sauce right now. It was simply delicious. And now I have got that beautiful beef tomato and oyster mushrooms to take down tonight - I need to get my cooking creative hat on. Looking forward to getting mad in the kitchen. Have the best day, eat well, feel good and appreciate every moment. Love and peace xo
